Who we are

Current is built by Current Future Labs Inc., a Canadian company based in Toronto, Ontario. We build Know-Your-Business (KYB) infrastructure purpose-built for Canada: a single platform to find, verify, enrich, and monitor registered Canadian businesses, sourced directly from federal and provincial business registries, regulator lists, and sanctions authorities — FINTRAC-aligned by default.

Why we built it

Canadian compliance, risk, and onboarding teams have long stitched KYB together by hand — tab-switching across all 13 provincial and territorial registries, Corporations Canada, the CRA Charities Directorate, FINTRAC's MSB Registry, and dozens of sanctions lists. Legacy tools rely on fuzzy name matching that misses real entities and surfaces false ones. Current replaces that with one query, one normalized record, and an audit trail built for FINTRAC examinations and periodic review.

We serve compliance, KYB, and AML teams at Canadian financial institutions and fintechs, risk-operations and onboarding teams, and legal, due-diligence, and corporate-services professionals.
